Neoceram pumps
Having a clear advantage over those using surface coatings NeoCeram ceramic rotary piston pumps are precision made from solid high density monolithic components.
Manufactured using NeoCeram exclusive high grade ceramic oxide compound Pharmalox® and Pharmazirc® they are fully compatible with machines made by the leading filling machines manufacturers and are designed to deliver superior performance in demanding sterile applications.
Why Ceramic VS. Stainless steel
• Very high resistance to surface damage, wear and corrosion.
• High dosing precision in time.
• High level of tightness while seal free.
• No fluid contamination.
• Production run can be started in dry conditions because of the very low friction coefficient.
• Efficient cleaning thanks to zero porosity

Why Neoceram ceramic solutions?
• No interaction with dosed products:
Pharmazirc® and Pharmalox® are non-cytotoxic materials with extremely high density and superior chemical and wear resistance. Our ceramics are ideal whenever your product is sensitive to stainless steel or is reactive to surfaces with which it undergoes contact.
• No lubrication required:
Neoceram pumps can run dry for prolonged periods of time without seizing. There is no need to add any potentially contaminating lubricants every time you start filling.
• Efficient and hassle-free:
Due to design features such as a small clearance and geometrical precision, our pumps are easy and fast to regulate at the beginning of each batch. Once in operation, they can run at high speed without seizing and with low operational expense because very little maintenance is required.
• Long life:
NeoCeram pumps are made of monolithic ceramic and do not have any surface coating.
They are designed and machined to reduce to a minimum the effect of shocks during manipulation and assembly.
If correctly operated the typical working life of our pumps is between 5 and 10 years, with no maintenance and with the same dosage precision.
Neoceram volumetric pumps, a superior choice for liquid dosage
– NeoCeram volumetric pumps have fully interchangeable male components.
– This feature exists not only for male components produced within the same batch of pumps, but also between batches having the same clearance.
– This prevents the risk of incorrect assembly and enables the replacement of damaged male components quickly and cheaply.
– Pharmazirc® and Pharmalox® are our proprietary ceramics developed to deliver outstanding sterile filling performance (i.e.: resistance to sterilization and mechanical stress and superior cleanability).

Neoceram Innovations: The Naked® Pump
• Only ceramic in contact with product.
• Built in ceramic connections.
• Reduced pump components.
• Very compact and solid design.
• Improved cleanability.
• Lighter than stainless steel version.
• Faster cooling.
• Ideal for SIP.
• Covering all liquid forms and pH range.
• Fast delivery.
CIP/SIP Dual Step Pump
The dual step design principle:
The volume generated by the piston displacement is not a “full” cylinder of liquid but corresponds to the annular section created between the two mated diameters of the differential piston.
As a result:
• With the same piston stroke a wider range of volume can be dosed.
• Higher dosing accuracy compared to a non-dual step pump.

Neoceram Innovations: Thermazyl®
Thermazyl® is NeoCeram new thermal shock resistant ceramic.
It is ideal for:
• Fast heating and cooling without breakages (140°C down to 10°C in a few seconds).
• Dynamic CIP.
• Thin pistons for products with hard particles.
Pump guidance – Handling
In order to prevent damage of the ceramic parts, it is advisable during any manipulation to:
• Place the parts in a case.
• Handle each part individually, without laying it on any Steel surfaces.
• After any handling, lay each part in its respective place in the case.
